Description
Jade has been considered a precious stone in many locations. China has been usuing Jade going all the way back to the 10th century. In 1863, French mineralogist, Alexis Damour determined that what was referred to as “jade” could in fact be one of two different minerals, either nephrite or jadeite. Serpentine is also referred to as a jade, even though due to mineral composition and hardness, it would not be actually classified as a jade. Lemon jade, is a color variant of serpentine. In crystal healing, lemon jade is a stone that balances mood swings, enhances the understanding of dreams, as is believed to be the bringer of good luck.
