It has a sweet scent that is a mixture of pine, mint & lemon and has been used in smudging rituals for centuries for spiritual purification and energy cleansing. Burning palo santo is also known to reduce stress and anxiety, inspire creativity and welcome in good fortune and feelings of love & peace. The practice involves lighting the stick and wafting the smoke around each room or around an individual. If you are one that travels a lot, palo santo is a great size smudge stick to take with you.

We recommend the use of a heat proof smudging bowl to catch any ash or embers that are produced in the ritual.
