These incense burners come with unique hand made spoons that were designed to accommodate small sized gemstones. This allows the incense burners to also serve as a gemstone cleanser. Simply burn an incense stick of sage (or your choice of cleansing herb) in the burner and place your gemstone into the spoon. Hold the spoon and gemstone over the smoke and allow the negative energy to be expelled from the stone. After cleansing you may then fallow up with an empowerment of the gemstone. Simply replace the sage incense stick with one that has a property you desire. For example if one of your gemstone’s properties is to promote calmness you may choose a lavender incense stick to recharge that particular quality. It is not recommended to burn cone incense or loose herbs on these burners. The finish is flammable and they are designed for stick incense only.
