Traditional Buddhist Mala used for prayer or repeated mantras. This one is made with 108 white jade beads and 3 pink glass pearls used as marker beads. The marker beads are NOT included in the count. 108 is a very important number in Tibetan Buddhism, they believe people have 108 afflictions or “kleshas”. Kleshas are mental states in Buddhism, that cloud the mind.
